The power and tranquility of the ocean.

The Ocean Flow series are the product of my fascination with waves, currents and movement patterns of all kinds. From giant telescopes, high frequency sounds, dance and martial arts movements, even brain waves, I’m always trying to visualise how the energy of the universe moves, intersects, refracts and warps. This series celebrates the meeting place of land, sea and wind. It’s the place closest to my heart. These images aren’t of ‘things’ but of the shapes of movement through things.
Either as individual images, or as a series, the Ocean Flow images are designed to invoke a feeling of the constant motion, yet infinite stillness of the sea at dusk, the power and tranquility of the ocean.
